Photo with CEO of Stampin’ Up! Sara Douglass
Few weekends ago i attended Stampin’ Up! OnStage event that is held for demonstrators around the world twice a year. This time our South Pacific event was held in Sydney or Perth. I attended the Sydney event as i could catch up with friends as well while i was away.
The event was a one day which isn’t long enough to catch up with your team members that live in other parts of the country and make new SU friends but its fabulous nonetheless, it’s where we learn new things and get sneak peaks at new catalogues.

No Peeking till your told…..
And boy was this sneak peak a big one, we found out about the Colour Revamp that is happening in the new Annual Catalogue that is coming out in June and the new stamp pads. We couldn’t discuss what we learned at OnStage with anyone that wasn’t there for a few days till all events were held around the world.
The day starts with registration where we collect our bag and name tags. Normally inside the bags are a new stamp set thats coming out and a gift from Stampin’ Up!, each event has different design bag.
After you grab the bag or even as your in line to get your bag the fun begins if you made swaps (Swaps can be anything from a card to a 3d project you make to give to others in return for their creations).
We were lucky in Sydney to have CEO Sara Douglass as our mc for the event. She is a wonderful lady who is happy to have photos taken with her or even a chat. This was my second time i think of meeting her.
Lots of exciting things happened including winning prize patrol and celebrating Stampin’ Up! 30th Anniversary with cupcakes, mmm yummy.

During the day we also had some make and takes with new stamp sets and products however i haven’t taken photos of them yet but in the coming days i will take some now that i have put them together. I find it’s easier to finish them off at home, but i do stamp and cut what needs to be done however it’s very easy to get distracted by catching up with other Demos.
When the event is over at local onstage we are able to divide what’s been used and left over of products with our table. This event i was the lucky one who got to chose first as i was the youngest of the table, it then goes round the table till everything has been divided out. I can’t wait to play with the new product.
Another perk of going to Onstage is getting to purchase some of the new product before anyone else. My order arrived yesterday but as im in the process of cleaning and sorting out my craft room i haven’t been able to play with them yet.
I’m including some other fun things that happened while attending Stampin’ Up! Onstage.
Enjoy crafting,
Veronica
